Andrea Fuentes, the coach who is leading Spain to the Olympus of artistic swimming: "It's starting to get scary."

The Spanish artistic swimming team is creating a sensation at the World Championships in Singapore under the direction of four-time Olympic medalist Andrea Fuentes . She has now won three gold medals in this venture, something that, as she herself acknowledged after the victory over Iris Tió and Dennis González , is starting to feel "a little dizzying."
"It's been a bit overwhelming. The first gold was a bit like jumping in the air, the second was like, no way, and the third, wait, what's happening? We're very happy, but honestly, it's starting to feel a bit dizzy," Fuentes said in statements released by the Spanish Swimming Federation.
Gold medals that serve Fuentes, who took charge of the Spanish team last August after their successful stint in the United States, to reaffirm his training methods .
"I'm a little in disbelief. I hadn't considered being a world champion . I've always wanted to take someone to the top of their game and achieve that, which reaffirms your approach to coaching," explained the Spanish coach.
Andrea Fuentes, as she insisted, has found in the members of the Spanish team the necessary elements to make her vision a reality in the pool.
"I've always wanted a team that could make my dreams come true, but I haven't had that until now. So, finally, hunger and the desire to eat have come together," Fuentes said.
In this regard, the Spanish coach emphasized that the goal after the successful run at the World Cup in Singapore is to handle the pressure that will now surround the young Spanish team and "seek new challenges to continue growing."
"You have to know how to handle this, because from now on, anything other than a gold medal is going to be incredibly pressured. So let's enjoy today, this wasn't in the plan , and starting tomorrow, look for new challenges so you can continue growing," Fuentes concluded.
